A bad Ohio State loss always makes me nostalgic. Joe Posnanski is one of the best sports writers in the country and an Ohio native about the same age as me. He’s got a book coming out soon about the 1975 Cincinnati Reds which I’m looking forward to. You can find a link to his website in the sidebar – lots of good reading.

I clearly remember this game. I was watching it in my room and when Woody punched the Clemson player I went downstairs and told everyone. It was 30 years ago, so could be a little fuzzy, but I’m pretty sure the reaction was something along the lines of “yeah, that sounds about right”. I suspect there were similar reactions all across Ohio.
